All Workshops take place in our home studio in Skippack, PA.
If you would like to schedule a Private Workshop for any of our classes (minimum of 4 students required), please email mosaicartreno@gmail.com to register. Classes are available on weekends only.
**Please note: Reservation for private workshops must be booked and prepaid in advance of the scheduled class. Payments are made via Paypal.
Please note our cancellation policy: Preregistration is required for all classes including payment in full. A full refund is available for cancellations up to 7 days before the scheduled class; 50% refund 2-7 days before the class. No refund within 48 hours of class. If you can find someone to fill your spot, we will offer a full refund (minus any processing fee) or credit for another class.
1. Basic jewelry making class
2 hour class Cost: $35 per person
In this workshop you will learn basic wire wrapping skills. The class will start with an overview of different jewelry making tools, how to select the appropriate size wire, wire-wrapping, use of eye pins and jump rings. Each student will leave with a completed bracelet and a pair of earrings. All materials are supplied.
2. Wire wrapping a stone
2 hour class Class Cost: $35 per person
In this workshop you will learn how to wire wrap a stone without a hole to create a pendant. Stone and wire are provided.
3. Patina-it-up!
2 hour class Class Cost: $35 per person
In this workshop, you will learn how to apply and blend a variety of colored patina paints onto metal embellishments, embossed blanks or filligree to make a beautiful piece of wearable art.
4. Beginner Mosaic Class
4-5 hour class Cost: $75 per person
In this 4-5 hour workshop, you will be guided step-by-step through the process of making a beautiful mosaic. You can choose to make a plaque, heart or your initial! A lecture on the basics of design, assembly, materials, glass cutting, and grouting will be given and then you’ll be ready to have some fun! All you have to do is show up, be inspired and express your creativity and style to make a one-of-a-kind piece. All materials are included to complete the project. Students take pre-made grout home to complete the piece.
5. Mosaic Pendant Workshop
2 hour class
Class Cost: $55 per person (price includes instruction and one pendant; as time permits, extra pendants can be made for $15 each)
In this workshop, you will be guided step-by-step through the process of making a beautiful mosaic pendant. There will be several component options to choose from (eg, natural stone beads, metal beads, mini mosaic tile, Czech glass beads, shells, and more). A lecture on design and assembly with a quick demonstration will be provided and then you’ll be ready to have some fun! All you have to do is show up, be inspired and express your creativity and style to make a one-of-a-kind piece. The price of the class includes one bezel, chain, and all components to make the mosaic pendant. To complete the project, students take pre-made grout home.
6. Introduction to Alcohol Inks
2 hour class Class Cost: $60 per person
This workshop is a beginner level class using these highly fluid, transparent dye-based inks to create a beautiful set of 4 coasters.
